Day of Beauty Sorta

I recently went into the Blu Water Spa for a Day of Beauty package that my husband got me for our anniversary. I thought this would be great considering that I have been to other spa's and had a relaxing experience. In whole most everything was great, the pedicure, the massage, the lunch, then I got down to the makeup portion and ended up being disappointed. Now I am not sure if I got the person who normally does the make up but I wouldn't recommend getting it done there. My face was not moisturized before make up application, nor did the person ask me which colors I normally wear. Though I know that workers like to make you feel good other that express what they truly think, however I left the salon looking like a trashy hooker. I had so much blush on my cheeks and pink eye shadow that I could have sworn I had just spent a full day with my face stuck in a tanning bed. Cosidering that my neck and every other part on my body is very pale. Then I had clown lips as the lip liner was so far off of my lips it was scary. It was humiliating looking at myself in a mirror after the ladies telling me how great I looked. I came home and my husband asked me if they did my make up because it didn't look like it, then i showed him the bright pink wet tissue I used to scrub my face when I left the salon. Everything else was ok.
